Where do all these jobs come from?

The jobs on Recruitment.com come from hundreds of job boards, recruitment agencies, company websites, newspaper websites, other jobsite  and more. If you can find jobs anywhere else, tell us, and we’ll add them to our search.

How do I look for a job on Recruitment.com?

Looking for a job with Recruitment.com is very simple. Input your requirements into the data fields for example in “what?” type in a sector or job title, and in “where?” type in a location which can be a town, city, county or postcode. Watch our video demo to find out more!

My job search produced a lot of results, can I refine my search?

Yes, we have a number of search refinement options that allow you to really dig deep and find your ideal job. You can refine your search via job title, location, company name, job type, advertiser and salary, so finding that all important job listing just got easier. If you have an idea for another refinement, tell us!

I want to look for a specific job title, how can I do this?

If you’re looking for customer service manager jobs then be sure to write it as “customer service manager” in inverted commas(“”) in the "what" field. This will look for jobs with the exact term you searched, rather than ‘customer’ and ‘service’ and ‘manager’. This will make your job search more accurate. Alternatively why not try our advanced search facility.

What additional features are available to help my job search?

We have many additional features such as save your searches, save jobs, create notes, rate jobs and get the latest jobs sent to you by email. All these can be utilised when you sign-up for a job seeker account.

What does creating a job seeker account allow me to do?

Creating a job seeker account allows you to save your searches, save jobs, create notes, rate jobs and get jobs sent to you by e-mail, so you never miss out on that new employment opportunity. Click to create an account.

How do I create a job seeker account?

At the top left of all Recruitment.com pages is a job seeker tab. Once you click on this tab you will then see a register button. Click on the button and proceed to fill in the relevant details. You will be asked to input your name, an email address and a password. It only takes a minute and could really help you in your job search, as you get access to some great job seeker tools. To register please click here.

How do I sign-in to my job seeker account?

At the top left of each page will be a ‘job seeker’ tab. Click on the tab, and then click on the sign-in button, enter your email address and password, and then click ‘ok’. From here you can access your personal job seeker account and gain access to a number of useful job seeker tools. To sign-in now please click here!

I can’t remember my password to sign-in to my job seeker account, what should I do?

At the top left of each page will be a ‘job seeker’ tab. Click on the tab, and then click on the sign-in button and scroll down to ‘Forgot Password’. Enter your e-mail address in the box provided and click ‘submit’. A message will be sent to your e-mail address containing your password. It’s a good job we remember!

Can anyone see my job seeker account?

No, your job seeker account is for you and for you only. Just use your unique sign-in for access.
Your Account Features

Can I receive the latest jobs by email which meet my requirements?

Yes, you can choose to receive the latest jobs by e-mail. Simply click 'Jobs by E-mail' and complete the form entering your search requirements, e-mail frequency and number of jobs you would like to receive.

I don’t want to receive jobs via e-mail all the time, can I manage this?

Yes, you can change the frequency of e-mails, along with the amount of jobs listed within each e-mail using your job seeker account. So, you can choose to receive jobs once a day, or once a month!

Can I rate each job so I can remember which were best for me?

Yes, simply sign-in to your job seeker account and conduct a relevant search. When you choose to save the job, you then get the option to rate it using a personal 5 star rating system.

I want to make notes about a specific job, can I do this?

Once you have signed up as a job seeker you can save your jobs which allows you to also make notes about each specific job. This will help you remember which jobs you have applied for, and which you liked the most!

A few of the jobs I have tried to view have expired, why?

Job listings appear as expired when they are removed from their original online source. We refresh our job database every day, so if the odd job does appear to have expired it will be removed within 24 hours.

I have found a job I want to enquire about, do I contact Recruitment.com?

No, Recruitment.com acts as a link between the job seeker and the source of the job. If you’re looking to apply for a specific employment opportunity or send your C.V, then you should use the website facilities available at the source of the job.

Recruitment.com will increase the exposure of your jobs and brand to millions of online job seekers. By becoming a partner your jobs will be added to our job search engine, where a brief job description will be displayed to all job seekers that perform a relevant search.

The job seekers which click to view more information will be sent directly to that job within your website. We list your jobs and send targeted job seeker traffic directly to your website.

Recruitment.com can accelerate the number of job seekers that visit the jobs on your website, increasing the chance of filling each vacancy. So why not become a partner today?

Can I add my jobs to Recruitment.com, and what’s the cost?

Yes, you can add your jobs to our job search engine. If you list jobs on your own website then you can list them on Recruitment.com. Simply register to become a partner and our team will add your jobs to our search engine.

It’s free to add your jobs to our job search. If you have less than 100 jobs and can’t provide us with an XML feed, a one-off set up fee of £50 is required to add your jobs.

Why doesn’t Recruitment.com cost anything?

Recruitment.com wouldn’t actually be a job search engine if we charged for jobs being included in our search. Our objective is to build a huge database of jobs, and that’s why we don’t charge to become a partner, add your jobs or for the click throughs you receive. If you want more exposure to your jobs, then there are a number of advertising opportunities available. Recruitment.com will benefit any website that lists jobs online, and that’s a fact. So, become a partner today!

Becoming a Partner

How do I add my jobs to Recruitment.com?

Firstly, you need to register as a Recruitment.com partner. As part of this process you will be asked to select a method to add your jobs. Don’t worry if you are not sure which method to select, we offer that option too. There are two methods of adding your jobs; RecruitBot  or XML/RSS. Please click on each one to find out more information.

I don't want to include all my jobs, can I do this?

Yes, for this you will need to select the XML/RSS option when you register as a Recruitment.com partner. This method will allow you to control which jobs are added to our search. If you already have any XML/RSS feeds at your website then simply provide the URL(s). However if you don’t currently have an XML feed, you will require a member of your team to create one (please click to view our feed spec).

How often will Recruitment.com visit my website?

RecruitBot, our robot will visit your website every 24 hours to get the latest jobs from your website, and to check for any expired jobs.

Can I remove my expired job listing from Recruitment.com?

When a job is removed from its original source it will appear expired when a job seekers clicks to view. Each job source is scanned every 24 hours to remove all expired listings. You cannot directly remove an expired job from Recruitment.com, leave that to us.
Add Your Jobs

What is RecruitBot

RecruitBot is our very own robot that can visit your website(s) every day to extract the relevant job information. RecruitBot extracts information from search fields including job title, company name, location, salary and a snippet of the job description from all your jobs on your website(s). It will visit your website(s) every 24 hours thereafter to update our database, extracting new jobs and to identify any expired jobs before finally adding your jobs to the Recruitment.com job search engine.

What is XML/RSS

By setting up an XML/RSS feed we can add your jobs to the job search engine much quicker as less work is required. It also allows you to limit or specify the number of jobs you wish to add to the Recruitment.com job search and places less demands on your servers.

If you already have any XML/RSS feeds at your website - please provide the URL(s). However if you don’t currently have an XML feed, you will require someone on your team to create one (please click to view our feed spec).
